The New Zealand Maori has made two changes to the team that beat Ireland for Wednesday's match against England at Napier.

Backrower Karl Lowe replaces Colin Bourke and prop Clint Newland takes the place of Bronson Murray in the only changes to the starting lineup which last Friday upset Ireland 31-28.

Both Bourke and Murray are named on the bench.

The Maori lineup includes former All Blacks Luke McAlister and Hosea Gear among the backs and Corey Flynn, Tanerau Latimer and Liam Messam among the forwards.

Wednesday's match is the last of a series commemorating the New Zealand Maori team's centenary.

"We have a chance to achieve something really great for Maori on Wednesday night if we can make it three from three," coach Jamie Joseph said.

"This has been a great tour and a fitting celebration of 100 years of Maori rugby and we are very determined to finish on a high."

England beat Australia 21-20 in the second match of a two-test series in Sydney on Saturday, tying the series 1-1.

--- New Zealand Maori:

Robbie Robinson, Sean Maitland, Dwayne Sweeney, Luke McAlister, Hosea Gear, Stephen Brett, Aaron Smith, Liam Messam (captain), Tanerau Latimer, Karl Lowe, Jarrad Hoeata, Hayden Triggs, Ben Afeaki, Corey Flynn, Clint Newland.

Reserves: Dane Coles, Bronson Murray, Isaac Ross, Colin Bourke, Ruki Tipuna, Willie Ripia, Jackson Willison.
