The Cheetahs kick off and we are underway.
2.00: The Cheetahs start well running the ball into the Blues 25 and then up to the line. After the 5th phase the ball comes out slowly and the Blues are able to regroup.
3.00: Juan Smith gets the ball on the 6th phase and he busts through one tackle and scores.
4.00: Naas Olivier adds the conversion.
5.00: The Cheetahs give away a penalty for "coming through" so Stephen Brett takes the kick and misses.
7.00: The Blues stretch the Cheetahs defence and Isaia Toeava darts for the line beating Jongi Nokwe to score the Blues first try. The initial break was created by Benson Stanley.
8.00: Stephen Brett slots the conversion from almost the touch line.
13.00: The Blues give away a penalty (Tony Woodcock) at the scrum so Naas Olivier takes the kick at the posts and nails it.
15.00: The game is held up due to an injury to a Cheetahs player.
18.00: Juan Smith makes a break and takes Sarel Pretorius with him, Pretorius bobs and weaves his way to the line but the Blues just manage to push him into touch.
22.00:Juan Smith puts in a grubber kick behind the Blues defence and Nokwe chases and then dots the ball down.

25.00: The Cheetahs give away a penalty almost in front of the posts. Brett takes the penalty kick and cuts the lead to 5.
27.00: The Cheetahs hit back with a quick try after taking a quick tap penalty and Bjorn Basson goes over for the Cheetahs third try.
28.00: Naas Olivier takes the conversion and nails it.
32.00: The Cheetahs string together 9 phases and slowly but surely edge the Blues back. The momentum ends when they knock on.
36.00: The Cheetahs win a scrum but Pretorius kicks upfield and the ball goes out on the full.
38.00: The Cheetahs give away another penalty for illegal binding so Stephen Brett kicks for posts.

42.00: As the Blues hit the 10th phase Toeava pops the ball out to Rene Ranger who darts off and scores.

46.00: The Blues win a scrum in their own half and Stanley kicks for touch but the ball goes out on the full. The Blues don't seem to have the intensity they normally do.
47.00: The match is held up for an injury to a Cheetahs player.
52.00: Jogi Nokwe goes down injured and stays down. The medical staff give him some attention as Olivier takes a penalty shot. He misses.
54.00: The Cheetahs give away a penalty so Brett kicks for touch when he could have gone for posts. The Blues then win the line out and Brett has a sniping run.
55.00: The Blues work the ball up to the line and then Mathewson goes over. We go upstairs to check if he scored. It looks good but the TMO says he can't tell. 5m scrum. Thats a rough call.
55.00: The Blues drive again after the scrum and then Alby Mathewson goes again and this time he scores.
56.00: Brett adds the conversion and the Blues lead for the first time.
57.00: The cheetahs fight back and drive for the line. They get the ball to Phillip van der Walt who dives over and scores the bonus point try.
58.00: Olivier adds the conversion.
62.00: The Blues are awarded a penalty so Stephen Brett takes the kick but misses.
65.00: Paul Williams makes a break down the wing but a forward pass goes in and the moves is ended.
67.00: The Cheetahs always look like they might be able to do something and Robert Ebersohn makes a break and races upfield only to be caught by the Blues.
68.00: The Blues are awarded a penalty so Brett kicks for touch.
73.00: The Blues on attack have the advantage for a Cheetahs infringement but the Blues play on and Ryno Barnes kicks the ball downfeld and Waltie Vermeulen races off and gathers the ball and scores.
74.00: Olivier adds the conversion.
75.00: John Afoa makes a break and he passes out and then Anthony Tuitavake goes over to score in the corner - its the bonus point.
76.00: Brett misses the conversion.
77.00: The Cheetahs keep the ball tight and close preventing the Blues from getting the ball.
79.00: The Blues get a scrum but they will have to run from their 25. They win the scrum but the Cheetahs smother them. The Blues recycle and the Cheetahs are blown for not rolling away.
80.00: The Blues kick for the line out.
The Blues win the line out. Meyer Bosman goes in with a big tackle and the ball pops out and the Cheetahs kick it out. Thats it the Blues lose.
