Former Bristol coach Richard Hill is set to be appointed as coach of French Federal League One side Chalon-sur-Saone.
Hill has signed a two-year contract with the club who play in the third tier of French rugby according to the BBC.
The former Bath and England scrum-half left the Mem in February after being there for six years.
Hill joined Bristol in 2003 and led them to promotion into the Guinness Premiership in 2005.
He backed that up with a best-ever third place finish in 2007.
The 48-year-old has previously coached at Gloucester, Newport and Harlequins and played 29 times for England.
